Canada:
Canada Olympic Park

Located 15 minutes from downtown Calgary, Canada Olympic Park was constructed solely for the 1988 Winter Olympic Games. This park is unique from most olympic venues, as it continues to function as a year round competition, training, and recreation area.
Skiing is the most popular past time at the park but introductory programs in the sports of bobsleigh, skeleton and luge are also offered to the general public. COP is within the city limits and just 15 minutes from down town. It offers easy access to everybody, including school groups.
