The list of club grant recipients increases with November 28th announcement!
GM recognizes medal performances on race day require first-rate coaching – the goal of Making Dreams Possible is to support Canadian athletes, including our skiers, at all levels through coaching excellence.
As a joint GM of Canada - Coaching Association of Canada program, Making Dreams Possible provides high performance and local amateur coaches with financial assistance to improve and enhance the sporting experience for athletes.
Two types of grants are available each year through 2010: 10 grants of $10,000 each to coaches of high performance athletes, plus 100 grants of $2,000 each for local community sport club coaches. This program is open and available to coaches of all individual and team sports that are represented at either the Winter or Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games.
