On December 18th, 1965 Mr. Fred Korman opened the doors of Owl’s Head Ski Area for the very first time. What started as a hobby for this simple electrician from Mansonville has now grown to a 4 season resort that provides some of the best skiing in Quebec as well as one of the top rated golf courses in the province.
Owl’s Head is a family-run resort situated in the eastern townships of Quebec. Located just over an hour from montreal, this resort highlights traditional skiing. Named for its owl-like shape by the native tribe that inhabited the area, Owl’s Head opened in 1965 by a ski enthusiast. This unique Quebec landmark attraction boasts the greatest vertical drop in the townships.
