Panorama is the third highest vertical rise ski mountain in North America. At an incredible 4,300 vertical feet it is higher than Jackson Hole and behind only Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains. Panorama lies near the eastern border of British Columbia, Canada, just 2 hours west of Banff/Lake Louise and accessible via the Calgary airport. Panorama is a complete alpine resort, with a charming village right at the base of the mountain, offering ski-to-your-door convenience and a wide selection of hotel and condo lodging.
Set amid towering Rocky Mountain scenery, Panorama offers a wide selection of superb ski terrain, from double black diamond glade skiing to uncrowded wide open groomed cruising to exclusively novice-only trails, Panorama truly is for everyone. There's more, too: Panorama is located on the edge of the world famous Bugaboos, with the finest Heli Ski terrain anywhere. There are daily Heli Ski departures available right from the heli-plex in Panorama Resort, with day-long packages starting in the area of $399 Canadian (approximately $299 US).
