So our situation here, soft snow, green blue runs, I’m trying to do some clean cutting carving turns, so what one thing I do, I pedal. You know, as in riding a bike, where one foot comes up, other foot goes down, one foot comes up, other foot goes down.
Here's how it works. About half way around, I pull my inside foot up, and that helps me to move the body toward the inside. So, half way around, pull the inside foot upo. Meanwhile, pushing the other foot down. It kind of feels like pedalling a bike, or something like that.
The point is, you don't want to be doing the same thing with both legs. Try doing something different. So I pull up my inside foot, pull up my inside foot, pull up my inside foot, pull up my inside foot, because that will set you up nicely to extend the leg to get the turn started.
So, flex and extend. Flex and then extend, and that pedalling movement, the way that sequence comes in again, is you flex here, leaving it on the snow, right? And then we extend strongly. Gets the turn started right away with lots of power. Try that pedalling movement. Hope it works for you.
