I'd love to hear some technical comment on DIN settings. Are racers simply having them set too high — typically above 15 — because of fear of chattering out? Does FIS need a rule that start refs check DIN settings? In the long term, do we need "smarter" bindings that can differentiate between chatter and a twisting fall?

Some great results for the Canadian Alpine Team but some really bad luck as well. Here's hoping Manny, Erik, Britt and Emily stay injury free. ... Go Canada in Whistler!
